These bells are handmade from 2 half dollars that are shaped and then soldered together. The clapper in the bell is made from the punch out from one of the half dollars. These bells are not made from silver coins. Check out my other listings to get them in silver. The half dollar on the bottom is the one that will show the date that you choose. I do have a lot of the dates in stock, however, if I don't have the date on hand that you choose, it will add a few more days for me to order it and get it shipped to me. These bells make great motorcycle bells, guardian bells, good luck bells, shop door bells, and gremlin bells.
